Forward Deployed Engineer

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and customer success. You'll work directly with UK estate agencies to understand their challenges, implement Nesti's AI communication platform, and build bespoke solutions that make their lives easier.

This role is for someone who loves talking to customers as much as they love writing code. You'll spend your time understanding how agencies actually work, identifying pain points in their workflows, and crafting technical solutions that feel like magic. One day you might be debugging a WhatsApp integration issue, the next you're building a custom dashboard for a corporate client's specific reporting needs.

You'll be instrumental in shaping our product roadmap based on real-world feedback, translating customer requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring our AI agents handle the complexity of estate agency communication with elegance. This isn't a typical engineering role: you'll need to be comfortable presenting demos, running training sessions, and being the trusted technical adviser for our customers.

What you'll do:

  • Work directly with estate agencies to implement and optimise Nesti's AI platform

  • Build custom integrations and solutions tailored to individual customer needs

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real-time, often whilst on customer calls

  • Translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements

  • Create documentation, training materials, and best practices for customer success

What we're looking for:

  • Strong full-stack engineering skills with experience shipping production code

  • Excellent communication skills and genuine enjoyment of customer interaction

  • Ability to context-switch rapidly between technical problem-solving and customer conversations

  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration work

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building solutions without perfect specifications

  • Bonus: familiarity with AI/LLM technologies, voice systems, or the property industry
